This animation was undertaken on behalf of Nissan and GT Academy, who work in association with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe on their innovative TV show and racing competition.

Taking the top virtual drivers from the game ‘Gran Tourismo’ on the Sony Playstation, GT Academy and Nissan put the drivers behind the wheel of a Nissan 350Z and let them loose on the track, with the participants competing to become a real-life racing driver. The winners compete in the classic LeMans race as part of the Nissan team, and they’ve already produced several superb racing drivers. This video shows just how much the competition has grown, and the coverage they’re now getting worldwide.
